With new technologies and techniques being developed and adopted all the time, it\u2019s critical that our craft workforce never stop learning. Providing ongoing training and education ensures that our team members are up to date on the latest methods and best practices, which leads to increased efficiency and productivity on the job site.<\/p>

Overall quality and safety of construction projects are our top priorities. Through strategic partnerships with WECA and IEC, Corbins is dedicated to building up the trades through a company-paid apprenticeship program. Apprentices in our workforce work alongside our seasoned Journeyman electricians to master their craft in the field, then transition to completing their coursework for the program every two weeks for six months, allowing them to earn a living while learning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Through these Apprenticeship programs, interested parties can hone their skills, make valuable connections, and set themselves up to be licensed Journeyman electricians.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

WECA (Western Electrical Contractors Association, Inc.,) and Corbins have partnered together to offer a valuable opportunity to those interested in joining the electrical trade in Arizona.<\/a><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t
\n\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

WECA\u2019s apprenticeship program has been called the most effective in the Western United States, which is why Corbins sought to bring it to the Valley. Known for its high graduation counts, great reviews from apprentices and contractors alike, up-to-date National Electric Code-based curriculum, on-the-job training, and an experienced teaching staff and administration, WECA is an investment into our craft workforce, as well as the industry as a whole. This Corbins-paid program can be completed over a consecutive 2-week period every 6 months. The program takes place during typical working hours, instead of having to attend the classes at night throughout a four-year period.<\/p>

WECA and Corbins offer a variety of Electrical Apprenticeship programs as well as an Electrician Trainee Program, certification exam preparation classes, and continuing education for Journeyman Electricians. It is with great pride that we have sought this partnership which develops the skills and knowledge of our own workforce while also being an active step in our purpose to boldly change the construction industry.<\/p>
