As we take a look back through 2024, all of the accomplishments, events, and growth we have experienced have been a testament to our success. Our culture continues to strengthen and we are proud of our team who represent us with their hard work and passion.
Expanding Our Footprint
For Corbins, 2024 saw the completion of a few major programs and the start of others that lead to an exciting road ahead. Our team has expanded our footprint in Texas, where we are pursuing exciting endeavors and settling into our new office/fabrication shop in San Marcos. This new space will allow us to extend our growing workforce, take on new challenges, and ultimately continue our mission to boldly change the construction industry.
We have celebrated our teams onsite and in the office, with BBQs and recognition to showcase our appreciation for them and all that they do. Uplifting our people who are key players in our success is vital to keeping our momentum. Our teams have also been recognized for their exceptional safety and commitment to protecting one another on the job which reflects the care and consideration our crews have. Cultivating a strong culture that our team can relate to and continue developing is an essential part of who we are.
Looking back, this has also been a time for us to successfully partner with other subcontractors through joint ventures. As an electrical contractor, building relationships with industry partners to combine our skills to achieve greatness is a benefit to us as we take on new opportunities. These partnerships allow our team to gain new skills from other experts as the industry evolves while our crews become more diverse in the work they do and the knowledge they possess.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate our current team we also aim to inspire future generations of the trades. This year we attended career fairs around the country to speak with individuals who are passionate about the industry and how they can join. Finding the right people to carry on our legacy of work is important to us as they will fuel our industry while representing our company and culture.
In addition, another experience we enjoy that allows us to do both that and guide students in the right direction is our Pre-Apprenticeship program in partnership with Grand Canyon University. We have been able to meet many great people and are happy to be involved in a variety of efforts toward the growing education surrounding the trades. Along with our pre-apprentices, Corbins also had 19 interns this year who were able to get hands-on experience gaining various skills and knowledge to prepare them for what to expect in the industry before embarking on the career journey.
To sum up, 2024 was a positive year filled with an overwhelming amount of gratitude toward our team and the construction industry as a whole. Our enterprise partners, general contractor RMCI, virtual construction and fabrication firm Nox Innovations, and label manufacturer Construction Labels have all played integral roles in helping our Nox Group enterprise grow. They have been huge assets to our success as they have aided in the development of our processes and innovation that have pushed us forward on and off our job sites.
We look forward to more expansion, opportunities, and positivity in 2025 and beyond.
