Who We Are

Our culture is built on the cornerstone of our core values.

These values are the behavioral expectations of each and every Corbins employee and are integrated into everything we do. Defined as “a company of lions”, to us, it’s family – our brothers and sisters.

Corbins was founded in 1975 by William (Bill) T. Corbin.

Bill instilled the principles of integrity, quality, and customer service into Corbins, all of which continue to be the foundation of our company today. From our inception, Bill successfully managed and grew the business into one of the largest electrical contracting companies in the Southwest.

Every job has its hard days, but not every career allows you to build something that lasts for generations. Gaining strength and grit with each step, proud of how far we’ve come and looking forward to the growth and opportunity ahead.

The LIONS’ CODE is behaviors, attitudes, and actions that we are committing to live by as Lions, as members and representatives of the PRIDE. We are all being held to the same standard, and no one is going to be perfect. We are committed to moving toward that stake in the ground every single day: together as brothers and sisters.

We are committed to building trust by delivering results, holding our team accountable, and refusing to let them fail. We recognize we are always learning and have the mindset to freely teach what we know, so all that we do moves us further beyond our current standard of excellence.

Corbins has been the incubator of innovation for bold solutions that we ultimately pass onto our customers to provide superior results. As experts in our industry, this has allowed us to leverage the use of cutting-edge technology in all areas of our business. Through our sister companies. we are now providing these business solutions to other partners like owners, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors to help them scale.

We support the effort to create awareness around career opportunities in the trades with local organizations like BYF Arizona and have made the investment into the future of our employees by partnering with WECA in 2020 to open their first Apprenticeship in Arizona. We offer the WECA Apprenticeship class free in addition to paying for time spent taking the class, to our Apprentices who qualify.

Beyond that, we create CLARITY through ‘10 PROMISES’ specific to each role that we ask them to make to themselves & each other. These promises define what it means to be successful in your role, allowing space for employees to set goals and grow in their positions. Leadership Development training and internal mentorships programs are also a big part of our commitment to growth.

Safety is more than how we conduct business, it’s who we are. Corbins leads the electrical construction industry in safe contracting, as demonstrated by our 0.59 EMR. You can be assured that our safety program, training, and protocol demonstrate our commitment to the incident-free completion of our projects, reducing and eliminating costly delays, liability exposure, and re-work.
