“I find construction exciting because there are so many things that are evolving, and what we’re building is for future generations.”

“Ever since growing up, I liked to see things get built. I majored in Civil Engineering & Construction Management and a couple of internships I had helped me decide I wanted to go into construction. I loved the excitement of the industry.”  As a Project Engineer, Lilly explains the excitement for her comes from knowing your work is building into the future. She enjoys a challenge and loves pushing herself and her team to make processes better, faster, and easier for future projects. Her favorite aspect of the job is the innovation she gets to be a part of. “Our most recent advancement has been integrating labor hours from our estimating software into our scheduling software. This provides the team predictability into labor forecasts, cashflow, and financial projections that wouldn’t be accessible otherwise. It’s fun knowing there are always things to improve,” Lilly says. “It’s not just you improving on your own, but it’s bringing new techniques to the team, and the team helps each other grow.” She says, “I have confidence knowing that power is from within the heart and that I am fully supported by my team.”

Lilly was recently recognized for earning the PRIDE Core Values Development award for her continued contribution to Corbins’ projects, process, and teams. We are so proud to have you in this PRIDE, Lilly! #corbinsPRIDE #WICweek2021
